HOW TO USE
PREPARE THE NECESSARY TOOLS FOR YOUR COLOURING:
- bruss
- bowl (plastic or glass)
- protective cape or old towel
- measuring cup (recommended)
PREPARE YOUR HAIR:
Divide your hair into 4 equal sections (separate it vertically from your forehead to the back of your neck and horizontally from ear to ear). To avoid staining, apply a moisturizer along the contours of the face, at the hairline, before starting the application. Apply the gel with a brush, starting at the roots.
1. PREPARE YOUR PERMANENT GEL
Wear gloves and protect your clothes with a cape or towel. Mix equal parts of the two bottles, the colour (bottle 1) and the developer (bottle 2), in a bowl.
Depending on the length, thickness, and porosity of your hair, you may need more or less product. The important thing is to maintain the 1:1 mixing ratio of colour and developer.
Refer to the table below to find the right dosage and avoid waste. Alternatively, use the caps to measure equal parts of colour and developer.
TYPE OF APPLICATION / MINIMUM RECOMMENDED COLOUR DOSE
- Roots up to 2 cm → 30 mL colour + 30 mL developer
- Short hair → 40 mL colour + 40 mL developer
- Long hair → 60 mL colour + 60 mL developer
After use, carefully close the bottles to preserve the unused product for the next application. Remember that the already mixed product left in the bowl cannot be stored.
2. APPLY
Divide your hair into 4 equal sections (separate it vertically from the forehead to the nape and horizontally from ear to ear). To avoid staining, apply a moisturiser along the face contours, at the hairline, before starting the application. Apply the gel with a brush, starting at the roots.
Do not reduce or extend the necessary time.
THE EXTRA TIP
If you are touching up regrowth, apply the gel only to the roots and save some. After 30 minutes, apply the remaining gel to the lengths and ends of your hair and leave it on for another 10 minutes.
3. RINSE AND COMPLETE THE TREATMENT
Thoroughly wash your hair, keeping your head tilted back to avoid product contact with your eyes. Apply your usual shampoo or Color Safe shampoo and rinse until the water runs completely clear. Apply Royal conditioner, the acidic pH conditioner that restructures the hair, seals the colour inside and preserves its shine. Leave it on for 1 minute, then rinse and proceed to drying.
HAVE FUN PERSONALIZING YOUR COLOUR!
You can create your personalized colour with a natural look by mixing
two or more shades.
The only rule is the 1:1 mixing ratio. This means that the total mL of colour
obtained (bottle 1 of the chosen shades) must equal the amount of developer
(bottle 2).
Example: My colour is 6N and I want to add a golden tone to my shade. I mix 30 mL
of 6N colour + 30 mL of 7D colour (bottles 1) with 60 mL of developer (bottle
2).
