- Place it on a bandage.
- Stick the bandage on the forearm and wait 48 hours to check for any reactions.
What you need
- towel
- bowl
- measuring cup
- comb
- protective barrier cream
- clips
- brush
Herbatint box contents
- 1 colour bottle (60 mL)
- 1 developer bottle (60 mL)
- 1 Royal Cream conditioner (50 mL)
- Instructions printed inside the packaging
- 1 pair of protective gloves
Steps
- Preparation: Place the towel over your shoulders and secure it with a clip to protect your clothes.
- Put on the gloves: Always wear the gloves provided to protect your hands throughout the process.
- Prepare the mixture: Pour 30 mL of the first chosen shade (e.g. 5N) and 30 mL of the second chosen shade (e.g. 7R to add a copper tone) and add 60 mL of developer. The ratio in mL between colour and developer must always be equal. Mix well until you obtain a smooth gel. Any unused, unmixed product can be stored for future applications.
- Protect the skin: Apply the barrier cream along the hairline (forehead, ears, hairline) to avoid staining.
- Prepare the hair: Using the comb, divide the hair into four sections.
- Start application: With the brush, apply the product to the roots, then continue along the lengths. Gently massage the scalp.
- Processing time: Leave the colour on for 40 minutes.
- Rinse thoroughly: Rinse the hair with plenty of water until the product is completely removed.
- Wash the hair: Use your regular shampoo or Herbatint Color Safe Shampoo for optimal colour durability.
- Apply conditioner: Use the Royal Cream conditioner included in the box. Apply to the lengths, leave in briefly, then rinse.
- Dry the hair: Blot with a towel and proceed to complete drying.
Result
